Weight Management Strategies

What is Weight Management?

Weight management practices are different for everyone. Are you trying to lose weight for a short period of time or a lifetime?  Let us talk strategy. First of all, I don’t believe in restrictions. A diet is something we do for a short-term gain and usually, most diets are not a sustainable solution. Why? I believe most people do not do well with restrictions. We fight it! That’s normal. Let’s get rid of the extremes and find balance.

Point #1 A healthy eating lifestyle is something you can do for the rest of your life.

I learned that eating well, eating healthy, and exercising is the best strategy! Eating well means you feel satisfied with what you eat. Eating healthy means you are confident that you are getting all the necessary nutrients your body needs to perform.

Point #2 Keto to Vegan diets – I have tried most of them to educate myself about the foods and the feelings one goes through during the diet.

I can safely say dieting is not the solution. Instead, do what is in your heart – start eating healthy and balanced meals and stick to it! If you are not sure where to start, chat with me!

Point # 3 You do not have to spend hours in a gym! Or work out every day of the week unless you want to.

Motivational Quote

Emerson says “This is my wish for you: Comfort on difficult days, smiles when sadness intrudes, rainbows to follow the clouds, laughter to kiss your lips, sunsets to warm your heart, hugs when spirits sag, beauty for your eyes to see, friendships to brighten your being, faith so that you can believe, confidence for when you doubt, courage to know yourself, patience to accept the truth, Love to complete your life.”

― Ralph Waldo Emerson

Point #4 I agree with Emerson. Life is meant to be lovely. My strategy is to use that concept in all I do, including how I work with others.

Point #5 Let us work diligently, but peacefully. My suggestion is 2 to 3 times a week. Restful days 1 or 1.5 days, approximately half the time of the workout days. The average person workout 5 times a week, resting for two days, separately.

Point # 6 Positive Vibes! Short-term goals are necessary. For example, losing weight for a vacation, etc. The big picture is about lifestyle. What is your big picture? Work on your mindset as this is how you shape your world.

Point #7 Think of activities that you do not mind doing every day. It is about loving what you do! Examples are jogging, cycling, walking, and running.

Point # 8 Cook for yourself. Perhaps spend less time eating out and learn to be your own personal chef! I will offer you many amazing recipes that might pique your interest! And journals to record your creations. Sometimes it’s hard to cook for yourself. Maybe you don’t have the skills or the time. See me, and we will create something special together!

Point# 9 We all get hungry between meals. Take a look at my recipe’s library for healthy snacks that you might grab in between meals!

Please share these healthy habits with your friends and family. I am here for you!
