They are delicious in stirfries and an excellent source of essential nutrients like iron, fiber, calcium, and vitamins C and K. They inspire your immune cells in your gut and skin to function correctly. These guys are essential players in improving immunity!
Garlic
Antivirals like garlic have strong antimicrobial properties, making them a powerful weapon against illnesses! It is also prebiotic, meaning it contains nutrients that nourish the good bacteria in your gut. The gut is the heart of the immune system, so let’s improve flora and fauna there!
Brazil nuts
Selenium is found in Brazil nuts. They contain an antioxidant that has been shown to support immune function and inflammation. Your aim might be to eat some every couple of days to support your immunity! So make sure you get enough of these little gems.
