Matcha Cocoa Latte

It’s surprisingly easy to make a latte at home. You’ll save so much money by skipping Starbucks or what have you. I had soo much fun making this because I love working with spices. I bet you will have so much fun doing this on your own too!
If you follow the directions below, then you will enjoy a uniquely flavored drink! This can be an anytime drink! Turmeric is used in alternative medicine and as an aid in reducing blood cholesterol and reducing osteoarthritic pain just to name a few.

Makes: 1
For the dry ingredients
- 2 1/2 Tablespoon cocoa or to taste
- 2 1/2 Tablespoon matcha or to taste
For the wet ingredients
- 1 1/2 Cups of almond milk
- 1 Teaspoon of honey
Method
Step 1: Warm the almond milk or leave it cold
Place milk in a 1-cup microwave-safe measuring cup, like a Pyrex. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 1 minute or until milk is hot and small bubbles form around the edge of your cup.
Tip: The higher the fat content in milk, the easier it is to foam.
Step 2: Froth the almond milk or froth milk
If you are frothing by hand then use a metal whisk to froth the milk or almond milk. You may have a difficult time frothing almond. You can froth milk instead as it has a higher fat content. Mix and match!
This is what the experts say to do: hold the handle loosely between your palms and quickly rub your hands back and forth. Use a spoon to remove foam to a small measuring cup as it forms.
Continue whisking until the foam measures 1/8 to 1/4 cup; then set your whisk aside.
Step 3: Mix Matcha, Cocoa and Almond milk
Spoon the matcha, honey and cocoa into your favorite cup, then pour in the remaining hot or cold almond milk.
Spoon foam over top and serve immediately.
