Almond flour bread is a Keto favorite! The health benefits of almond bread are that it is packed with healthy fats and it can give you an energy boost by helping increase your ketone levels. The micronutrients in almond flour benefits you by giving your brain a healthy boost of intelligence. We can all use some more of that right? Almonds are known to protect you against diseases like Alzheimer’s.
Today, we paired almond bread with buttermilk fried chicken, and a simple quinoa salad!

For the dry ingredients
- 1 ½ cups almond flour
- ⅓ cup flaxseed meal
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
For the wet ingredients
- 4 eggs
- ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Preheat oven to 350° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, salt, baking soda, and blueberries.
Add the beaten eggs and honey. Stir until thoroughly combined.
Place the dough on a cutting board and pat it out into a circle that is 1/2 inch thick.
Cut the circle into eighths.
Use a spatula to transfer the pieces to the lined baking sheet, leaving space between them.
Reshape if needed.
Bake for approximately 12 minutes until golden brown on the tops.
Cool on the baking sheet for 5 – 10 minutes and server warm.
